Copyright, Takedown & Corrections
How to get content removed or re-credited, how a business or agency answers a published report, and how to get a fact fixed — one route, plain steps.
One route for all of it
Removal requests, credit fixes, corrections, and right-of-reply responses all come through the same door: legal@moldsgym.com. If email is a problem, a message sent through the Report It page is monitored and will be routed — say plainly in your first line what the message is about.
Nothing on this page requires a lawyer, a form, or a fee.
Copyright takedown
Mold’s Gym republishes third-party work only under the attribution model on the Content & Republication Policy page — attributed, linked, and embedded rather than re-uploaded in the case of video. If we got it wrong with your work, this is the fix.
Send the notice to legal@moldsgym.com, with four things:
- Your name and how to reach you.
- The work — what it is, and where it appears on this site (the page address).
- A statement that you own the work, or are authorized to act for the owner.
- What you want done — removed, credited differently, or context added.
This follows the shape of the notice-and-takedown process under US copyright law (the DMCA). What happens next:
- A person reviews every notice.
- On a clear ownership claim, the material is removed or restricted while the claim is checked — it does not stay up for the duration of an argument.
- Where we can, we tell the contributor what happened.
- If we believe the use is lawful reporting or commentary, we will answer saying so, with the reasoning.
Notices must be made in good faith. If you do not own the work, do not send a takedown for it.
Corrections
We would rather fix a fact than defend one. If something on this site is wrong — a date, a name, a finding, a label — send what is wrong, where it is, and what the correct fact is, with a source if you have one. A verified error is corrected, and the fix is noted on the page. Scores are editorial opinion and are not “corrected,” but a factual error underneath a score is.
Right of reply
Named in a published report and want to answer it? That right is stated in full on Reports Are Reports: a substantive response is published alongside the report, labeled as yours. Send it through the same route above.
