Voices: The Mold Authors We Promote
Somebody is talking about mold — a researcher, a remediation pro, a sickened homeowner, a creator — we promote them. Every mold author is scored 0–10 for accuracy and quality; score 7+ and their work is republished and profiled here.
Mold is a niche that runs on a handful of people willing to say, in public, what the institutions won’t: researchers publishing the studies, remediation professionals explaining what they actually find inside walls and under benches, doctors treating environmental illness, and ordinary people documenting what happened to them.
Our policy is simple: if somebody is talking about mold and their work has validity, we link it. If it scores high enough, we promote it.
The score
Every resource and author we list is scored 0–10 on accuracy and quality — one published score, applied the same way to a journal paper, a book, a channel, or a blog:
- 9–10 — Gold standard. Accurate, well-sourced, careful about what it doesn’t know. Republished and featured.
- 7–8 — Solid. Accurate and useful. Republished here and profiled below — this is the threshold that matters.
- Below 7 — Linked only. Valid enough to point readers to, not strong enough to republish under our name.
- No validity — not listed. No link, no repost, no exceptions. A good story doesn’t rescue bad facts.
What “republished” means
Our attribution model, the same discipline used across this site: qualifying work is republished with the author’s name on it, credited and linked to the original — embedded where the format allows (video stays on the creator’s own channel; we embed, never re-upload). Unproven claims in republished work stay labeled as the author’s claims, not our findings. Authors can ask us to take their work down at any time; credit is not a cage.
Get listed
The author directory launches with the site’s first scored class — researchers, authors, remediation professionals, physicians, and creators whose mold work we have reviewed and scored. The cards below are example slots showing exactly how a profile will look, so authors can see the format before the first real class is published. A nomination route opens with the full launch: if you write, research, film, or treat in this field, we want to hear from you — being scored is free, and a 7+ puts your work in front of every reader this site sends looking for help.
